King extends condolences to UAE president over passing of Sheikh Khalifa

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah extended condolences on Saturday, in Abu Dhabi, to United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan over the passing of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
King Abdullah said the Arab and Muslim nations lost a wise leader who was dedicated to serving his people and defending Arab and Islamic causes, as well as promoting regional and international peace, and supporting Jordan in all circumstances, according to a Royal Court statement.
His Majesty reaffirmed the deeply-rooted historical relations between the two countries and peoples.
