In the presence of the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Al Ali, Thneibat stressed the company's willingness to supply the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture with phosphate fertilisers. Other aspects of cooperation also include constructing a plant for phosphate fertilisers, in partnership with the Iraqi side, to provide the Iraqi market with the substance, Petra reported.

The JPMC chairman also extended an invitation to the Iraqi delegation to examine the process of producing and manufacturing phosphate fertilisers in the Kingdom in order to reach an agreement that establishes “a true partnership” between the two sides.
