JPMC profits reach JD180.7m in Q3 2021

AMMAN — The Jordan Phosphate Mines Company's (JPMC) net profit during the first nine months of 2021 hit JD180.7 million, compared with a loss of JD14.9 million in the corresponding period of 2020.

The company's gross profit during the January-September period totalled JD325.5 million, compared with D86.9 million reported in the same period of 2020, according to a statement published on the Amman Stock Exchange website.

In the nine-month period, the company sold 6.926 million tonnes of phosphate, at an average price of $84.7 per-tonne, up $22.5 in comparison with the corresponding period of 2020.
