AMMAN — Jordan's foreign policy is based on "deep understanding" of the entire international circumstances, which makes it "moderate, realistic and capable of balancing national and general interests", Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said on Tuesday.
Safadi made the remarks during a lecture at the Royal Jordanian National Defence College, where he reviewed the Kingdom's foreign policy goals and the means Amman adopts in dealing with regional and international developments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the lecture, attended by students of the defence 15 and war 24 courses, the minister highlighted the Jordanian stance that supports Palestinians in their endeavours to reach a permanent settlement and a just solution to the Palestinian issue that tops the Kingdom's priorities.
