AMMAN — A large-scale march was held in front of Al Husseini Mosque in downtown Amman following the Friday prayer, calling for an end to the brutal and ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip and in support of the Palestinian people's resilience in facing the Israeli occupation.

The participants, who represented a range of societal segments in Jordan, denounced the unfair treatment of the Palestinian issue by the international community and demanded an immediate end to the aggression against Gaza and the attacks carried out by settlers and the occupation army against the Palestinian people, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

In addition, they demanded that all accords with Israel be cancelled because it is waging the worst possible war on both people and territory.

They stressed their support for the Hashemite leadership in assisting the Palestinian people, advancing their righteous cause, and retrieving their legal rights, commending the big efforts made and directed by His Majesty King Abdullah to defend the Palestinian cause at several levels.
