AMMAN — Jordanian prisoner Abdullah Abu Jaber on Tuesday arrived in the Kingdom after Israeli authorities released him, according to Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez.
Speaking to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Fayez said that Abu Jaber was transferred to the King Hussein Bridge Tuesday morning after all procedures and necessary arrangements were completed.
Abu Jaber, who spent 22 and a half years in Israeli prisons, was scheduled to be released last Sunday, but the occupation forces obstructed the process under the pretext that his papers were incomplete.
