AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the failed terrorist assassination attempt targeting Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al Kadhemi at dawn on Sunday.
The ministry affirmed the Kingdom's solidarity with Iraq and its people, stressing its unwavering support for its security and stability as well as the efforts of the Iraqi government to combat terrorism, bolster democracy and preserve national achievements, according to a ministry statement.
The ministry also expressed the Kingdom's utter condemnation of all “cowardly terrorist acts”, which threaten the security and stability of Iraq.
