Jordan’s role in world, region is respected by all — Momani

AMMAN — Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani on Friday said there is a global consensus on Jordan’s role on several international and regional issues, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Delivering a speech at the conference of King’s Academy Model UN 2017 (KAMUN), Momani stressed that the Kingdom has played an important role in conserving global peace and security since becoming a UN member in 1955.
Jordan has become more insistent on cooperation with the UN due to the complicated situation and the challenges that are facing the region, the minister, who is also government spokesperson, said, adding that the Kingdom, as a UN member, focuses on several issues, especially the Palestinian cause the core of all Middle Eastern conflicts.
