AMMAN — The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) has recently licensed 62 local medical supplies and cosmetics factories.
JFDA Director Nizar Muhaidat said that the factories, all of which hold the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification, include 210 production lines that help meet local market demands, noting that locally produced medical supplies are imported to 47 markets around the world, while Jordanian cosmetics reach 58 countries worldwide, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also highlighted the achievements of the sector during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, inviting those interested in these products to visit the JFDA website to learn more about the licensed factories.
