JAF announces 'maximum' alert status for all military units, formations to counter threats to Kingdom's security, stability

AMMAN — Following the recent regional developments, instability and military escalation, the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Tuesday announced maximum alert status for all units and formations to counter any threat to the Kingdom's security and stability.

A JAF source said that the General Command is following up closely on regional developments and has taken all necessary and preventive measures to support front units on borders, according to a JAF statement.

The source added that all JAF units and formations are always at the highest levels of operational, training and logistical preparedness to deal with all situations and any emergency that might result from regional developments.
