Irbid mayor, UNHCR representative talk cooperation

AMMAN — Irbid Mayor Nabil Kofahi and UNHCR Representative to Jordan Dominik Bartsch on Tuesday went over cooperation aspects and means to provide services to refugees in Irbid. 

Kofahi said that the Greater Irbid Municipality will not stop providing services to refugees, even though these services have added extra burdens and drained a lot of its financial resources, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Bartsch expressed his happiness in visiting Irbid, which he described as "hospitable" for receiving a large number of refugees, stressing the importance of supporting the municipality to help continue its services to refugees.
