Human resources key pillar of public sector modernisation — Shraideh

AMMAN — Human resources is one of the most important in the seven components of the public sector modernisation plan, as it is a pillar of any modernisation and development, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of State for Public Sector Development Nasser Shraideh said on Sunday. 

Attending part of a consultative workshop to prepare the national strategy for human resources in the civil service, Shraideh said that the most important requirement for modernising the public sector is having a comprehensive strategy for human resources, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

During the workshop, organised by the Civil Service Bureau and supported by USAID-funded governance project, the minister said that getting involved in dialogue and receiving feedback is crucial for the future of the public sector.
