AMMAN — The Lower House on Sunday condemned the Zaatari violent incidents, blaming some Syrian refugees of trying to spread chaos.
In his remarks during Sunday’s session, Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh called on the Syrian refugees to respect local laws and regulations and urged authorities to “enforce the law strictly” on all those involved in attacks on security forces.
During the meeting, Minister of Interior Hussein Majali said authorities were enforcing regulations governing exit from and entry into the camp.
Deputy Mefleh Khazaleh, who represents Mafraq, maintained that arms of different kinds exist in the camp.
