Higher Education Ministry receives delegation from Iraq’s Kurdistan

AMMAN — Higher Education Ministry Secretary General Mamon Dibie and a delegation from Iraq's Kurdistan Region on Tuesday discussed means to enhance cooperation in various fields, mainly in education and health.
Dibie highlighted the importance of cooperation between the two sides and the value of benefitting from the expertise of the Jordan Nursing Council and the Kingdom's higher education institutions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Talks mainly covered nursing shortages in Iraq's Kurdistan Region and lack of regulations for bridging courses in nursing.
Members of the delegation said that the region seeks to dispatch its health personnel to pursue higher education at Jordanian universities according to conditions set by the Kingdom's Higher Education Council.
