AMMAN — The Higher Education Council endorsed the general policy for admitting foreign students at Jordanian universities for the 2019/2020 academic year.
A council statement, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said that the general policy stipulates that foreign students admitted at the bachelor’s degree level must not hold Jordanian nationality and must hold the Jordanian general secondary school certificate or any equivalent certificate.
If a student passed with an Arab certificate, they have to issue an attestation document from the Ministry of Higher Education, and if they passed with foreign non-Arab certificates, they have to issue an attestation certificate from the ministry or from the institution of the country that has issued the certificate, before they can join Jordanian universities.
