Haddad appointed as Jordan's non-resident ambassador to Uruguay

AMMAN — A Royal Decree was issued on Monday approving the Cabinet's decision to name Suhail Haddad as nonresident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Uruguay.
Another Royal Decree has been issued approving an amended law on the formation of Sharia Courts. The law, published in the latest issue of the Official Gazette, includes provisions that pay special attention to cases involving minors.
A third Royal Decree was issued approving amendments to the law on medicine, which stipulate harsher penalties for the sale and the possession of fake medication.
