FM takes part in dialogue session with US officials

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Wednesday participated in a dialogue session organised by the US Council on Foreign Relations in cooperation with Baylor University in Texas in the presence of politicians, academics, economists and civil community activists from the US.

During the virtual session, Safadi referred to the development in the “strategic” Jordanian-US partnership in the political, economic and defence fields among others, and means to further boost them, according to a ministry statement.

The minister stressed the “solid” partnership and sustainable coordination between the two countries over regional issues with the aim of resolving Middle East crises, fighting terrorism and realising security and stability and economic welfare.
