AMMAN — The first low-cost, international flight, affiliated with the Wizz Air carrier, landed at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman on Saturday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Tourism Minister Nayef Hamidi Fayez said that the arrival of the first flight from Milan via Wizz Air, which operates low-cost flights in dozens of countries to Amman, marks the start of operating low-cost direct flights.
Director-General of the Jordan Tourism Board Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat stressed the importance of this event, pointing out that low-cost aviation is an essential and important element for increasing the number of inbound tourists.
