IRBID — Yarmouk Water Company has recently started partially pumping from the Disi Water Conveyance Project to the Zaatari region, the company’s director, Mohammad Rababaa, said Tuesday.
Rababaa said this measure is aimed at addressing the water shortage the region is facing with the Syrian refuge influx.
He said the company is currently working on two projects to transport Disi water to the Zaatari region.
The development is expected to cost JD47 million, which will be funded by international organisations.
