AMMAN — The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship on Tuesday launched an initiative meant to support the growth of start-ups in the Kingdom, which is a new business development project that falls within the national entrepreneurship policy.

The ministry on Tuesday outlined that the project aims to support 100 Jordanian companies through a tailored programme meant to enhance their operational capabilities and expand their workforce, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Each selected company will receive a total of $25,000 in financial support, subject to meeting specific eligibility criteria. Over two years, the project will identify 50 companies per year, with a strategic focus on supporting both traditional and technology-driven businesses.

The initiative prioritises inclusivity by ensuring a minimum of 10 per cent of governorate representation and a minimum of 30 per cent participation by women-owned or women-led businesses.

The ministry invited interested parties to apply through the dedicated portal at https://shorturl.at/yWk53.
