Culture minister, UNESCO representative talk cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Culture Basim Tweissi on Saturday met UNESCO Representative to Jordan Costanza Farina over advancing cooperation in various cultural fields.

In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the minister highlighted the importance of cooperation in the fields of training and building capabilities, mainly in the programmes “Memory of Jordan” and “Memory of the World”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Talks covered amendments to the draft law of right to access information, with Farina lauding the move and calling for more cooperation to implement beneficial projects that preserve cultural heritage.
