Correctional centres open to Eid visitors from 9am to 1pm

AMMAN — Correctional and rehabilitation centres will be open during the Eid Al Fitr holiday from 9am to 1pm, a Public Security Department (PSD) statement released Wednesday said.

The decision comes under the reform policy implemented by the PSD to keep inmates in touch with their families, the PSD said, adding that inmates who are to be released during the holiday will be released in accordance with the law.

The holiday for Eid Al Fitr, the feast marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, will start on Friday and end on Monday.
