Child, father die in house fire in Quweismeh

AMMAN — A man and his child have died while his wife and their four other children survived a fire that erupted in their house in Quweismeh area, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Wednesday.

Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab visited the family on Wednesday at Al Bashir Hospital, where he instructed the medical cadres to provide necessary treatment to the injured, wishing them a speedy recovery and expressing his condolences over their losses.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Hatem Azrui said that the mother and four children were put on artificial respiration devices.
