CDD director commends German assistance in equipping six centres

AMMAN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) Director General Maj. Gen. Mustafa Bazaiah on Tuesday commended a cooperation project with the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief and Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance.

The first phase of the project entails assistance to equip six voluntary CDD centres in several governorates; a later stage includes establishing centres in every governorate, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During a meeting with delegates from the German ministry of defence, Bazaiah praised German support in helping the CDD develop its performance.
