CARC, Omani counterpart discuss cooperation in aviation regulations

AMMAN — The Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) and its Omani counterpart held two-day discussions to explore cooperation opportunities in aviation regulations.
Both parties agreed to remove operational restrictions in Jordan and Oman, paving the way for increased cooperation between the Oman Air and Royal Jordanian, the national carrier, according to a statement issued on Thursday and cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
During the meetings, charter and cargo flight operation permissions were granted to both parties, subject to compliance with applicable regulations.
