Bylaw to establish National Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases Centre published in Official Gazette

AMMAN — The Official Gazette on Monday published the 2020 bylaw No. 112 to establish the National Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases Centre, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Most notably, the centre aims at strengthening health and safety measures, countering biological terrorism, monitoring public health, developing information systems, curbing and preventing the spread of epidemics and infectious diseases.
The centre will include an authorised council headed by the prime minister to establish policies, decide on budgets and make recommendations, Petra reported.
