AMMAN — The Bahraini mission in Jordan on Wednesday held a ceremony to mark the country's Independence Day in Amman.
Commending the "deep-rooted" nature of Jordanian-Bahraini bilateral ties, Bahraini Ambassador to Amman Ahmed Bin Yousef Al Ruwaie noted that the two kingdoms are celebrating their golden jubilee of diplomatic relations.
The ceremony, which featured the attendance of Senate President Faisal Fayez, senior officials, senators, MPs, diplomats and journalists, commemorated the modern era of Bahrain that began in 1783.
