Army chief meets with Algeria’s chief of staff

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti in Algeria on Tuesday met with Algerian Chief of Staff of the People's National Army Lieutenant General Said Chengriha over security challenges in the Arab region and Africa. Huneiti and Chengriha also exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest and means necessary to enhance military cooperation between the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The one-day visit was aimed at enhancing military cooperation and coordination between the two armies. Chengriha praised the "deep-rooted" military cooperation between the two countries' armies.
