Annual Jordan-US military competition concludes

AMMAN — The annual "The Thunder" competition, aimed at enhancing collaboration, training and knowledge exchange between the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) and the United States Armed Forces, concluded on Thursday at the Joint Training Centre (JTC). The event featured the participation of 17 teams from both sides. In the presence of officers from the Jordanian and American armed forces, Brig. Gen. Mustafa Al Hayari, director of Military Media, presented awards to the participants, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The five-day competition aimed to train the participants and improve their shooting skills. This year, 12 teams from various formations and units of the JAF, along with seven teams from the US Armed Forces, participated in the event.
