Amman court rejects 12 electoral contestations

AMMAN — Amman’s Court of Appeals on Tuesday decided to reject 12 electoral contestations that disputed the election of some MPs, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The objections concerned election results in the Zarqa 1st and 2nd districts, Amman’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd districts and the Central Badia District.
Also on Tuesday, Maan’s Court of Appeals decided to continue considering the contestation filed against the election of one MP and to re-examine the ballot papers in 30 ballot boxes.
