40 health inspection teams deployed in Aqaba

AMMAN — About 40 inspection teams were deployed on Sunday in Aqaba to ensure that safety and health measures are being applied by the economic sectors that were allowed to resume work after the government began easing curfew regulations in the city.

During a meeting with the inspection teams, Chief Commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) Nayef Bakhit stressed the importance of adhering to public health and safety instructions as well as social distancing in public facilities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He added that legal and administrative measures will be taken against any person who violates the provisions of Defence Law No. 8 of 2020.
