AMMAN — Al Afaf Charity Society on Friday held its 22nd mass wedding, where 34 couples were married.
A member of the society’s administrative board, Naim Shaltoni, noted that the main aim of the society is to facilitate marriages through distributing financial aid and hosting mass weddings.
Shaltoni said more than 1,500 couples have participated in group ceremonies organised by the society since its establishment in 1993.
The Dar Al Arqam Islamic School hosted the event, which was financed by the Jordan Islamic Bank and other donors.
