19 defendants urged to turn themselves in to court

AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) has issued a warning to 19 defendants involved in various crimes, giving them 10 days to turn themselves in or be considered fugitives. After the 10-day period is over, the defendants’ assets will be frozen.
The SSC directed all Public Security Department personnel to arrest them on sight, urging any civilian who knows of their whereabouts to come forward.
Moreover, any action or pledge taken by the defendants after the 10-day period will be considered invalid. The defendants, one of them a Palestinian, are all accused of drug-related charges, except for one who is accused of joining terrorist groups.
