AMMAN — American TV mogul Oprah Winfrey took to Facebook to share her experience visiting Jordan recently with her friend American TV personality Gayle King.
“Visited Jordan this week so much to see and experience! We visited the site where John the Baptist baptized Jesus, Petra and all its fascinations, camels, and the spot where the big boulder comes rolling out of Indiana Jones. So much history there in the ‘Rose City,’ voted one of the 7 new wonders of the world. It takes 3 days to really see it all, we only spent 3 hours. Put it on your must see list if you haven’t already!,” she wrote on Facebook.
In a separate post, Winfrey also mentioned other landmarks she visited during her stay.
“Speaking of something we've never done before, we're in Aqaba, Jordan. It is the city that Time says you must visit in 2023. It's on a list of a hundred cities. And so we're saying yes to Jordan all this week. We started at the Dead Sea…,” she posted.
