‘Sustaining cooperation with Jordan of high importance to EU’

AMMAN — Cooperation with Jordan is of high importance to the EU in view of the Kingdom’s contribution to achieving regional security and stability, Romanian Ambassador to Jordan Nicolae Comanescu said on Monday.
During a celebration to mark the end of Romania’s term as EU Council president, Comanescu added that his country is dedicated to supporting Jordan via the EU, stressing the importance of maintaining the “strong image” of the bloc and sending a positive message about its role in supporting neighbouring countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
