Morocco wins Arab Rugby 7s in Amman

AMMAN — Morocco finished unbeaten after two days of high quality action at the 3rd Arab Rugby 7s held in Amman, according to the Jordan Olympic Committee News Service. Morocco cruised through the Group stage on Friday, before beating the UAE in the semifinal 32-5, and then easing past Egypt 17-0 in the final to retain their Arab title at the Petra University Stadium.
The Host Jordan, which won its Group on Friday, finished third overall after beating the UAE 14-0 in the bronze medal play-off. Earlier jordan lost the semifinal to Egypt 21-5. Lebanon finished fifth after beating Libya 31-19, while Iraq placed seventh after beating Palestine 12-10.
