The Qatar resident is one of four skaters representing Arab countries at this inaugural event, which has been created to develop children’s and youth sports with the Jordan Olympic Committee keen to also develop young athletes across new sports.

“It is like a dream come true to be able to represent Jordan,” said Rayah. It will be a great experience to compete against top level young athletes and help me in my bid to develop. The event, which is supported by UNESCO and the International Olympic Committee, has welcomed over 3,000 athletes.
