AMMAN — The Jordan Teachers Association’s council on Thursday referred the issue of the health insurance fund to the judiciary over alleged financial, legal and administrative violations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The council also decided to assign a lawyer to file a case. The decision came after an auditing by a specialised firm found out that two insurance companies were contracted instead of one and the lack of monitoring on health expenditure, according to Petra.
