AMMAN — Prince Hamzah Hospital is scheduled to implement an expansion project and construct new buildings on a 16,000-square-metre (sq.m.) area, in addition to inaugurating specialised units to be the first of their kind in the Health Ministry, Hospital Director Mazen Naghway said Tuesday.
In an interview with the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Naghway said the expansion project includes building eight floors, the area of each is 2,000sq.m., to open emergency, gynaecology, burns and plastic surgery wards.
A committee was formed for technical studies and a tender will be floated, he noted, expecting the project’s implementation to start in early winter.
