More Jordanian aid under way to Gaza

AMMAN — As per Royal directives, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Wednesday dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip.

The convoy consists of nine trucks carrying medical supplies and food, among other relief items, which have been donated by several Jordanian institutions, to be handed over to the health department in Gaza, as well as the coastal enclave’s medical centres and charity associations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

A total of 51 trucks loaded with medical supplies, food and relief items were sent to Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem. The commission invited those wishing to donate to visit www.jhco.org.jo, Petra reported.
