AMMAN — Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Monday inaugurated the eighth International Jordanian Mechanical Engineering Conference.
Ensour noted that the conference, dubbed “Mechanical Engineering: from Research to Application” and organised by the mechanical engineering department at the Jordan Engineers Association, is a real opportunity to exchange ideas and expertise among researchers from different countries.
The event includes workshops on solar energy, water treatment and energy administration, among other topics.
Nasser Huneiti, head of the preparation committee, said the conference focuses on three main axes of modern applications in mechanical engineering, solutions to energy problems and mechanical engineering education.
