King departs for United States

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, departed for the United States, where he is scheduled to participate in the Sun Valley Economic Forum and undertake a working visit to Washington, DC, which will follow a private visit.

The Sun Valley forum is slated to take place in Idaho during the first week of July, with the participation of US and international political, economic and media figures, according to a Royal Court statement.

HRH Prince Feisal was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
