King, Crown Prince attend army iftar

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, on Monday attended an iftar banquet hosted by the army.

Several members of the Royal family, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff and the King’s Military Adviser Gen. Mashal Al Zaben, General Intelligence Department Director Gen.

Faisal Shawabkeh, Civil Defence Department Director General Lt. Gen.Talal Kofahi, Public Security Department Director Maj. Gen. Atef Saudi, and Gendarmerie Department Director Brig. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh attended the banquet.

Army officers and members of security bodies were also present. King Abdullah performed the maghreb prayer with the attendees.
