King condoles Somali president over minister’s death

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday sent a cable of condolences to Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo over the death of Minister of Public Works and Housing Abbas Abdullahi Sheikh Siraji, according to a Royal Court statement.

The minister was shot dead in the Somali capital of Mogadishu on Wednesday. In the cable, His Majesty expressed his condolences on behalf of the Jordanian government and its people.
