King attends iftar hosted by Armed Forces

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, on Wednesday attended an iftar banquet hosted by JAF at their headquarters, a Royal Court statement said.

Several members of the Royal family, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff and King’s Military Adviser Gen. Mashal Al Zaben, the directors of the General Intelligence Department, Civil Defence Department, Public Security Department, and Gendarmerie Department attended the iftar, along with other senior army and security officers.

King Abdullah performed the Maghreb prayers with the attendees.
