Jordanian short film ‘Tala’vision’ wins gold at Student Academy Awards

AMMAN — The Jordanian short film “Tala’vision”, directed by Murad Abu Eisheh from the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg, Germany, was awarded the gold medal at the 48th Annual Student Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Narrative Film section.

The film is the first Arab nomination in this category. The award ceremony was held in Los Angeles on Thursday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported, citing a Royal Film Commission statement on Saturday. “Tala’vision” competed with six other films in its category.
