‘Global March to Jerusalem’ to be held next week

AMMAN — Activities of the “Global March to Jerusalem” will be held on June 6 and 7 in more than 80 cities and 42 countries to shed light on attempts to Judaise the Old City and its Islamic and Christian sites.

In a statement, the campaign’s president, Abdullah Obeidat, noted that Jordan will host the main march, to be held in the Jordan Valley on March 6, at noon.

March Spokesperson Ribhi Haloum expected more than two million activists around the world to take part in the event.
