AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat and British Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff Maj. Gen. Giles Patrick Hill on Thursday discussed ways to increase cooperation and coordination on a number of issues of concern to the armed forces of both countries.
Freihat and Hill also went over the latest regional and international developments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The British military attaché in Amman attended the meeting. Freihat also met with Deputy Commander of the US Central Command Terrence McKenrick and an accompanying delegation over means to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two countries’ armed forces, Petra added.
