Former minister Amin Husseini passes away

AMMAN — Former minister Amin Husseini passed away on Monday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Prime Minister Hani Mulki paid tribute to the multiple-time minister, who held several portfolios, including labour, transport and foreign affairs in the Cabinets of prime ministers Sharif Hussein Bin Nasser, Bahjat Talhouni and Abdel Munim Rifai.

Mulki also offered his condolences to Husseini’s family, according to Petra.

The deceased, who was born in Jerusalem, was also a member of Parliament for Jerusalem in 1963.
