AMMAN — The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) on Thursday decided to amend the official working hours of licensed banks following a Cabinet decision to adopt summertime in the Kingdom throughout the year.
The CBJ said that working hours will be between 8:30am to 4:00pm, where banks will open to the public between 9:00am and 3:30pm, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The CBJ said that the decision will go into effect as of Sunday, October 30.
